If you have not — or if you are 70, travelling alone, and your flight has just landed at 1 AM — the gap between the exit gate and a cab is the hardest part of the journey. Assisted pickup closes that gap, and it is booked by whoever is arranging the ride, not by the person travelling.
What the add-on includes
1. Driver parks in private parking to assist at the exit gate
To provide this service the driver first parks the cab in the airport’s private parking area. That is what lets them walk to the exit gate and personally receive your parents or loved ones, instead of waiting in a pickup lane. The parking charge — around ₹150 — is already included in the add-on.
2. Gate pickup with luggage assistance
The driver meets your loved ones at the exit gate, helps with their luggage, and escorts them to the pickup area.
3. No confusion or long walks
Your loved ones do not have to find the pickup point or manage bags on their own. The driver takes care of it — which is the whole point of the add-on for anyone who finds a large terminal disorienting.
4. Smooth pickup handoff
After guiding them to a safe waiting area, the driver brings the cab round from the parking zone, helps them board, loads the luggage, and starts the ride to the destination.

What is Assisted Airport Pickup?
It is a QuicReach add-on for BLR airport pickups where the driver parks the cab, walks into the terminal exit area, receives your passenger in person, helps with their luggage and escorts them back to the vehicle. A standard airport pickup asks the passenger to find the cab; this one brings the driver to them.
How do I add it to a booking?
You will find the add-on in the ride booking journey for an airport pickup in the QuicReach app. Select it while booking the pickup — it is not something that needs to be arranged separately or over the phone.
Is the airport parking charge extra?
No. The driver has to park in the airport’s private parking to walk to the exit gate, and that charge — around ₹150 — is already included in the add-on rather than added to your fare afterwards.
Can I book this for someone else arriving in Bengaluru?
Yes, and that is what it is designed for. You book the pickup and add the service, and the driver receives your parents or family member at the exit gate. They do not need to negotiate a cab, find a pickup point, or manage bags alone after a long flight.
Does it work for late-night arrivals?
Yes. QuicReach pickups are pre-booked with flight tracking, so a delayed or late-night landing moves the pickup rather than cancelling it, and there is no surge on the fare. Assisted pickup applies the same way at any hour — arguably when it matters most.
